Job Description Details: Role name: HCI Infrastructure Technical Architect About the Role: We are seeking an Infrastructure Technical Architect Consultant to join our Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure professional services team. You will act as a trusted advisor, architect, and delivery consultant for our North America customers. This role blends solution design, pre-sales phase consulting, and hands-on delivery of complex projects, requiring both technical expertise and strong customer engagement skills. The role will be instrumental in shaping hybrid cloud strategies, modernizing infrastructure, and supporting complex transformation projects, ensuring that solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and aligns with Customer objectives. Job Requirements Details: Job Responsibilities Advisory & Pre-SalesCycles Partner with sales, presales and account teams to engage customers, understand business challenges, and translate them into technical solutions. Design and present proposals, including high-level and low-level solution designs (HLD/LLD). Provide technical input to RFP responses, Statements of Work (SOWs), and cost/benefit analyses. Support upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing customers. Design & Delivery Architect, implement, andoptimizehybridcloudand on-premisessolutionsacrossAzure, AWS, andVMware. Leadmigrations, datacentertransformations, backup/DR solutions, andworkloadcontainerization. Ensurealignmentwithsecurity, compliance, andgovernanceframeworks. Create technicaldocumentation, includingarchitecturediagrams, runbooks, andoperationalguides. CustomerSuccess & Transformation Drive continuousimprovementinitiatives, helpingcustomersmodernizeandoptimizetheirenvironments. Leadtransitionandtransformationprograms, includingriskassessment, mitigationplanning, andexecutionoversight. Provide post-implementation support andknowledge transfer tocustomerandinternalteams. Collaboration & KnowledgeSharing Act as a subjectmatter expert for HybridCloud & Infrastructure, supportinginternalcapability building. Deliver training, mentoring, andknowledge-sharingsessions for colleaguesandpartners. Collaboratewithtechnologypartnersto design jointsolutionsthatenhanceour service offerings. Qualifications & Experience Education:Bachelor"sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relatedfield. Certifications (preferred, at leastone): Microsoft Certified: AzureSolutionsArchitect Expert (AZ-305) AWS SolutionsArchitect - Professional Google Cloud Professional CloudArchitect Experience: 7+ years in IT Infrastructure, with 3+ years in hybridcloudarchitectureand consulting roles. Hands-on design andimplementation of cloudanddatacentersolutions (Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, OpenStack). Proventrack record withmulti-site or multi-cloudprojects (e.g., datacentermigrations, DR solutions, hybridnetworking). Delivery of modernizationinitiatives: virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Experiencelinkingtechnologyoutcomesto business objectives (agility, cost optimization, compliance). End-to-endprojectdelivery: scoping, planning, execution, andhandover. TechnicalSkills Cloudplatforms: Azure, AWS (GCP desirable). Cloudmodels: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; public, private, hybrid, andmulti-cloud. Virtualization & containerization: VMwarevSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift). Identity & access: Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM, MFA, SSO. Data centertechnologies: compute, storage (SAN, NAS, object), networking (SD-WAN, VLANs, firewalls). Backup, disasterrecovery, andhigh-availabilityarchitectures. Cloudgovernance, security, compliance, and cost management. Soft Skills Strongcommunicationandpresentationskills; abletoengagetechnicaland business stakeholders.
