This role requires strong expertise in SQL and extensive experience in PySpark development.

### Responsibilities

**Data Engineering:**- Leverage Azure Synapse Pipelines and PySpark to manage data transformation and pipeline operations.- Execute data integration and schema updates within Delta Lake environments, ensuring seamless data flow and precise reporting.- Work closely with the Azure DevOps team on CI/CD pipelines for deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing Workspace artifacts.- Develop tailored solutions based on Data Architect guidance and continually refine our data solution patterns.

**Documentation:**- Maintain thorough documentation for ticket resolutions, testing protocols, and data validation procedures.- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide specifications and cost estimates for customer-requested enhancements.

**Ticket Management:**- Monitor Jira tickets and resolve issues as they arise.- Use SQL, Synapse Analytics, and related tools to troubleshoot and resolve data-related challenges.- Communicate effectively with customers and work closely with internal teams (e.g., FinOps, Databricks) to resolve issues.

**Troubleshooting and Support:**- Handle issues related to ETL pipeline failures, Delta Lake processing, and data inconsistencies in Synapse Analytics.- Provide timely resolution of data pipeline and validation issues to ensure data integrity and performance.

### Desired Skills & RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience in the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, specifically with a strong background in PySpark development. We value candidates who align with our organizational culture and values.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:- Extensive experience with SQL, including query writing and troubleshooting in Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake environments.- Strong expertise in implementing and supporting ETL processes, Data Lakes, and data engineering solutions.- Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, including workspace management, pipeline development, and data flow management.- Hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing and automation.- Ability to operate in secure environments using VPNs, MFA, RDP, and jump hosts.- Some experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD IaC and release pipelines.- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.- Familiarity with the data structures of D365 Finance and Operations, Business Central, and Customer Engagement.- Experience with Microsoft Fabric for Data Engineering.- Knowledge of Delta Lake and Azure data engineering concepts (e.g., ADLS, ADF, Synapse, AAD, Databricks).- Azure Data Engineering certifications are a plus.
