Ceded Re - Reporting & Analysis team publishes various monthly and quarterly Reports and Dashboards to support the Credit control team, claims team, Placement and senior management in decision-making. The process involves deep analysis of information, triangulation with key parameters (Business vs region/country) and quick turnarounds. This role will focus on driving the analytics to measure business performance towards Product Management, Regional Management, Legal Entity and Producing office Management.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

·Prepare and support on monthly & quarterly reports. Develop dashboards on PowerBI by understanding Business specifications and translating them into automated modules wherever possible.

·Detailed in-depth analysis of reinsurance contracts, Interpreted and translated data to reporting requirements& conducted analysis.

·Develop and help automate the existing and new reporting requirements, keeping them standardized, but flexible enough to incorporate last-minute changes and adjustments in the fast-movingreporting environment.

·Support the designing, modelling and maintenance of the dashboard for the Ceded Re function.

·Manage the data extraction and report running out of various operational reporting tools and databases including Cognos, MIS, SQL etc.

·Participate in projects as required to ensure that all potential impacts to financial data are identified and managed effectively.

·Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all the reports prepared.

·Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.

·Handling ad-hoc queries related to the process or new projects as and when required.

·Identify process improvements and make and implement recommendations to streamline the process.

·Collation and management of department procedure manuals and process documentation.

Required Skills and Abilities:

·Releavvnt years of work experience, advanced knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and MS Office tools like Advance Excel & MS Access (Pivot, charts etc.)

·Effective Insurance and reinsurance knowledge.

·Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to analyse and manipulate huge volumes of financial and operational data.

·Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

·Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and techniques, or the development of new products and services.

·Possesses skills and awareness and consistent basic project management, analytical and application skills.
