Roles & responsibilities :

  • Conduct in-depth patent and non-patent literature searches to determine patentability and analyse prior arts for novelty assessments
  • Have sound knowledge in drafting patent applications
  • Collaborate with inventors to comprehend their inventions and translate technical information into patent specifications
  • Perform freedom to operate, invalidity, infringement, and technology landscape analyses
  • Utilize various free and paid databases effectively for patent searching
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Electrochemistry and related disciplines to evaluate technical innovations accurately
  • Stay updated with advancements in science and technology to aid in the conceptual development of inventions
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Patent law and other relevant regulations while handling patent-related matters
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey analysis results and insights to internal teams.


What we look for :

  • B.Tech. / M.Tech. / M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Chemical engg. / Chemistry
  • 2-6 years of experience in patent analysis, searching, drafting, managing, and patent related tasks.


Required skills :

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with R&D members, inventors, & attorneys.
  • A good technical understanding with an analytical mind, to extract the essential features of the invention.
  • Strong analytical and searching skills.
  • Experience in the field of energy storage or batteries is a plus.
