About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team and lead the architectural design and technical guidance for our full-stack application development initiatives. This is a strategic role focused on creating robust, scalable architectures and mentoring our development team to deliver high-quality solutions. You will not be involved in hands-on coding but will be the technical visionary who shapes how our applications are built.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design

• Design comprehensive full-stack application architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and secure
• Create detailed technical specifications, system diagrams, and architectural documentation
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines
• Design database schemas, API structures, and integration patterns
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and third-party services

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Guide and mentor development teams on architectural decisions and implementation approaches
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical direction throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with developers to resolve complex technical challenges
• Ensure adherence to architectural principles and design patterns
• Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes

Strategic Planning

• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Assess technical risks and provide mitigation strategies
• Plan system evolution and migration strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on current architecture

Quality Assurance

• Establish quality gates and review processes for code architecture
• Define performance benchmarks and scalability requirements
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into all architectural decisions
• Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability

Required QualificationsTechnical Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or senior technical roles
• Deep understanding of full-stack development principles and modern application architectures
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and distributed systems
• Experience with database design (both SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of security principles and compliance requirements

Frontend Architecture Knowledge

• Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, )
• Knowledge of frontend build tools, state management, and performance optimization
• Experience with responsive design principles and progressive web applications

Backend Architecture Knowledge

• Experience with various backend technologies and frameworks
• Understanding of server architecture, load balancing, and caching strategies
• Knowledge of message queues, event-driven architectures, and real-time systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Experience in agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Understanding of compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2)
• Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role
