Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer / Data Solution Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Advanced SQL, with a proven track record of building and optimizing data integration pipelines and delivering end-to-end analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.
  • Architect and implement data & analytics solutions leveraging Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other modern cloud tools.
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data architecture and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards across all solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, ensuring smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Work independently in a remote setup while coordinating effectively with global teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in data engineering and solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in the Azure Data Ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Databricks, Functions).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL development & data integration across heterogeneous sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, stored procedures).
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling (relational, dimensional, star schema).
  • Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Python/Scala preferred).
  • Experience in end-to-end data & analytics solution architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₹170, ₹180,000.00 per month
