Overview:

TAC Security is seeking a dynamic Lead Quality Assurance professional to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both manual and automation testing, along with the ability to lead the QA department effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of SDLC processes and agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the capability to draft and document test cases meticulously. Candidates should have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in product-based companies and a solid domain understanding of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Quality Assurance department, providing direction and mentorship to team members.Conduct comprehensive manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.Develop, implement, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.Utilize expertise in cybersecurity domains to assess and address potential risks.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team, enhancing processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a product-based company.Proficiency in both manual and automation testing techniques and tools.Strong understanding of SDLC processes and agile methodologies.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to create clear and comprehensive test cases and documentation.Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated experience leading a QA team or projects.Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance or cybersecurity.Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.Experience with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for test automation.Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
