We are looking for the Accounts Head, who can lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate books, compliance with statutory regulations, and smooth month-end/year-end closures. Supervise team operations and coordinate with auditors for financial accuracy.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, balance sheets, and statements in compliance with regulatory and internal accounting standards.- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.- Prepare and review tax returns, compliance reports, and other statutory filings in coordination with auditors and consultants.- Supervise and mentor a team of 10 accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy and adherence to deadlines.- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders for audits, filings, and financial reviews.- Assist in developing and implementing internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements.- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and proper reporting.- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register — track additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.- Support the preparation and review of Tax Audit Reports and ensure compliance with relevant tax and accounting laws.- Handle account finalization and assist in preparing management reports for decision-making.- Perform any other accounting or compliance-related tasks as assigned by management.Requirements- Education: CA Inter / ICWAI / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA preferred).- Experience: 6–8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior or supervisory role.- Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Tally and ERP-based accounting systems.- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.- Sound understanding of GST, Income Tax, and Company Law.- Preferred Background: Experience in an audit firm or a manufacturing organization.
