Guidewire Tester with Guidewire Certification

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire QA Automation Engineer to support our quality assurance team in automating testing for Guidewire applications, ensuring smooth functionality, reliability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Guidewire testing, strong automation skills, and the ability to identify and resolve complex system issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications, focusing on modules such as PolicyCenter, and ClaimCenter.

• Quality Assurance Strategy: Collaborate with QA and development teams to design effective QA automation strategies tailored to Guidewire systems.

• Test Execution and Reporting: Execute and monitor automated tests, identify defects, and ensure high-quality test coverage.

• Performance and Regression Testing: Perform regression and performance testing to validate software functionality and integrity with every release.

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot, track, and resolve defects through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Test Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments and test data, ensuring consistency and reliability.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test plans, test results, and defect reports.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar.

• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages, e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript, for test automation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps for automated test integration.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the insurance domain and Guidewire applications.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and document complex issues.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to write clear, precise, and comprehensive test scripts and documentation.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and adaptability.

Guidewire - associate-level certification is must have.
