Job Title: Assistant Professor – Computer Science Department: Shoolini University Centre for Distance & Online Education (SCDOE) Institution: Shoolini University Mode: Full-time (Campus presence as required) Experience: 1–3 years Role Summary The Assistant Professor will support teaching and academic delivery for Online & Distance programmes in Computer Science, ensuring high-quality learner support, academic content delivery, and compliance with UGC-DEB norms. Key Responsibilities Deliver online/live classes and academic support sessions. Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, and assessments. Develop self-learning materials (SLMs) and digital content as required. Conduct evaluations, grading, and feedback as per university norms. Provide student mentoring and academic guidance. Support academic compliance and documentation requirements. Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. (First Class in any one degree) Or B.E./B.Tech. and MCA (First Class in any one of the two degrees) OR Three-year Graduation with Mathematics + MCA (First Class) + 2 years relevant post-MCA experience Skills Required Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science domains. Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written). Familiarity with digital/online teaching tools and LMS platforms. Ability to create structured, student-friendly learning material.
