Job Description: Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Position: Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Experience:   5 to 10 year

Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend software requirements effectively.
  • Develop Software Requirements Specification (SRS), High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates based on software requirements.
  • Formulate comprehensive Test Case Suite, Test Plan, and Test Reports.
  • Facilitate efficient task allocation among junior team members.
  • Devise robust coding guidelines and Testing strategies.
  • Implement effective logging/debugging techniques for bug fixing and debugging purposes.
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Extensive experience in embedded software development within RTOS/Linux environments.
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team of embedded software engineers.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and UDS.
  • Experience with Python, Rust, or Go would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge in the Cellular/GPS/BLE domain is desirable.
  • Possess critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
