Job Description: Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Position: Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Experience: 5 to 10 year
Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to comprehend software requirements effectively.
- Develop Software Requirements Specification (SRS), High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Provide accurate effort estimates based on software requirements.
- Formulate comprehensive Test Case Suite, Test Plan, and Test Reports.
- Facilitate efficient task allocation among junior team members.
- Devise robust coding guidelines and Testing strategies.
- Implement effective logging/debugging techniques for bug fixing and debugging purposes.
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Extensive experience in embedded software development within RTOS/Linux environments.
- Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of embedded software engineers.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and UDS.
- Experience with Python, Rust, or Go would be advantageous.
- Knowledge in the Cellular/GPS/BLE domain is desirable.
- Possess critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
