Role
*Quality Management System (QMS) – AS9100 Focus *

  • Maintain, implement, and improve the AS9100-certified Quality Management System.
  • Develop, update, and control QMS documentation (procedures, work instructions, quality manual, process flows).
  • Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor, measure, and report QMS performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and flowdowns.
  • Track and interpret applicable regulatory, statutory, and customer requirements.
  • Support the organization in achieving and sustaining industry certifications.
  • Facilitate training and awareness sessions for employees on QMS and integrated management system requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure process compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Quality / related discipline).
  • 2–5 years of experience in Quality / QMS engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in AS9100 QMS;
  • Knowledge on ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 will be an advantage.
  • Experience in internal auditing and handling third-party certification audits.
  • Strong understanding of quality tools & methodologies (FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma basics).
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Auditor certification in AS9100/ISO 9001 preferred.
  • Knowledge of NADCAP, ITAR/EAR, or other aerospace-specific requirements is an advantage.
