 Key Responsibilities / Duties: 

The primary tasks associated with this role are to use data quality tool to profile the project source data, cleanse and accurately check the project data, check for duplicate or redundant records, and provide exception management capabilities to business using Informatica data quality (IDQ)
Responsible for data profiling, Scorecards and build custom and complex business data quality rules to support different business needs. 
Takes complete responsibility of design, development, testing, deploying, and documenting data quality procedures and the exception management processes with minimal support from the lead developer 
Work closely with data stewards, ETL developers, and business analysts to analyze and translate business needs into an data quality management architecture that seamlessly integrates with the current system and data assets with the new strategy
Partner with data stewards and business teams to provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data
Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end investment management processes, the required data to support these processes, and the data quality and delivery issues that may impact the business on an on-going basis
Help to compile management reporting dashboards of data quality metrics for the organization using reporting tools like Power B.I and others
Develop the vision for an ever-evolving Data Quality improvement strategy that not only satisfies current needs but can be easily adapted to future needs as new sources of data input and requirements for data output are identified
Support and address any issues or enhancement requests in stipulated time.
Work with Business Analysts, Data Governors to assist in onboarding data into the lake, strengthening Taxonomy, building end to end metadata lifecycle in Data Governance tool
Work alongside data governor, business analyst to provide metadata support for key projects
Ensure that the key data elements detailed in Data Governance tools align with the pre-defined Standards
Build control around content captured in Data Governance tools by providing right access levels to users & handling Audit process
Test and explore new features available in tools to recommend better usage. Identify potential issues/ bugs in Axon and report to the manager / bring up to Informatica team
Build process flow and design documents to identify process gaps and recommend solutions
Work Experience / Knowledge: 

At least four years of experience as a data quality analyst/ developer
Experience in building Data Governance framework and the role of Metadata Analyst
Experience with data quality or metadata software tools - Informatica DQ, Informatica EDC & Axon
Knowledge on reporting tools like – Power B.I, OBIEE, Tableau, etc
An understanding of the concepts related to data base, data modelling and process flow design
Has worked or has knowledge in a Data lakes/ Data Platform environment


Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: 

Proven passion for the data quality and data management discipline
Team player and works with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate well with different audiences with clarity and conciseness demonstrated by well-developed written and verbal skills, and the ability to deliver content to moderate-sized groups
Rich attention to detail to capture and communicate complex topics
Ability to judge the significance of issues and escalate accordingly to Data Governance Managers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to utilize tools commonly available tools, e.g., PowerPoint or Visio, to diagram data or process flows


Formal Education: 

Graduate Degree in computer science or relevant experience in the technology
