Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Generalist to manage core HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, and HR operations. The role will also be responsible for end-to-end in-house compliance management to ensure adherence with labor laws, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the hiring cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management.
  • Conduct seamless onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.

2. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Address employee queries and grievances with professionalism.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities to build a positive work culture.
  • Support disciplinary actions and conflict resolution processes.

3. Performance Management

  • Assist in performance review processes and track employee progress.
  • Provide support to managers in feedback and appraisal discussions.

4. Compliance & HR Operations

  • Manage in-house compliances including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment, Bonus, Professional Tax, and other labor law requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers, returns, and reports (ECR, challans, inspections, audits, etc.).
  • Ensure timely submission of compliance filings and liaise with government authorities when required.
  • Draft and maintain HR documents: appointment letters, confirmations, amendments, and exit formalities.
  • Coordinate with payroll for accurate statutory deductions and benefits management.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify employee training needs and facilitate skill-building programs.
  • Maintain training records and track effectiveness.

6. Policy & Process Improvement

  • Draft, update, and circulate HR policies in line with statutory norms.
  • Regularly review HR processes for efficiency and compliance readiness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR Generalist experience with hands-on statutory compliance management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance filings, and audit requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Integrity and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
