Position Overview

The Business Analyst at HealthSy will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, guiding strategic decisions, and driving impactful initiatives. This individual will focus on analyzing potential business areas, evaluating new markets, and studying competitors to inform HealthSy’s direction and to maximize our reach and effectiveness. This role requires a blend of analytical acumen, market insight, and strategic thinking, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Opportunity Identification:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify and prioritize new business areas that align with HealthSy’s strategic goals.- Evaluate and recommend key growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, demand forecasts, and the healthcare industry landscape.

2. Task Allocation and Onboarding Coordination:

- Create and assign onboarding tasks based on demand and identified opportunities to the Business Development team, ensuring clarity and efficiency in execution.- Work closely with team members to support the onboarding process and monitor the progress of key business initiatives.

3. Market and Competitive Analysis:

- Identify new markets for HealthSy’s diverse range of services by analyzing demographics, healthcare needs, and trends within various regions.- Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, to help refine HealthSy’s competitive strategy and market positioning.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Gather and analyze business data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making.- Prepare and present detailed reports on market potential, competitor landscape, and business growth opportunities to senior leadership.

5. Collaboration with Business Development Team:

- Partner with the Business Development team to create tailored strategies for market entry, expansion, and scaling.- Serve as a resource and point of contact to ensure alignment between market insights and business development goals.

6. Project Management and Documentation:

- Manage multiple business analysis projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.- Document and maintain a knowledge base of research findings, methodologies, and business development strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications.- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the healthcare sector or a related industry.- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to a variety of audiences.- Proficiency in market research methodologies and familiarity with healthcare industry trends.- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
