Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Analyst with 6 years of professional expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel at understanding business challenges, gathering requirements, driving innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless project delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment.
  1. Business Process Analysis:
  • Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop as-is and to-be process models to guide transformation efforts.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes.
  1. Solution Design and Delivery:
  • Work with development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Validate solutions through testing and provide end-user support post-implementation.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate project updates and insights.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are addressed effectively.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Leverage data analytics tools to extract and interpret business performance metrics.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.
  1. Project Coordination:
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking milestones.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Support change management efforts to drive successful adoption of new processes or systems.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in [industry-specific details, e.g., finance Services/ Fintech/ Mobile money Wallet].
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart).
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL).
  • Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise-level systems.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
