Position: Java Technical Architect

Location: Chennai
Experience: 12+ Years (including 4+ years as a Java Microservices Architect)

Job Summary :-

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Technical Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java, Microservices, Cloud, and System Architecture, with proven experience in external integrations, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade solutions. This role requires strong leadership in defining technology standards, driving best practices, and guiding teams in delivering robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities :-

Architecture & Design

  • Define and design scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures using Java, Spring, and Microservices.
  • Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
  • Drive system integrations, external API integrations, and mobile app backend architecture.

Technical Leadership

  • Act as the solution architect for enterprise-level projects.
  • Lead technical evaluations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, DevOps, QA, security, product).

Microservices & Cloud Expertise

  • Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
  • Lead deployment strategies on AWS/Azure with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • CI/CD & DevOps
  • Define and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Git, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Ensure continuous testing, automated deployment, and monitoring.
  • Guide teams in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security & Compliance
  • Implement information security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure secure coding practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct security reviews and lead remediation strategies.
  • Performance & Optimization
  • Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for enterprise applications.
  • Optimize system throughput, response time, and overall performance.

Key Skills & Technologies :-

  • Core Skills: Java, Spring, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate
  • Messaging: Kafka (preferred)
  • Cloud: AWS / Azure (deployment, scaling, monitoring)
  • DevOps: CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Version Control: Git
  • Security: Application Security, Compliance Standards, Secure Coding

Nice to Have :-

  • Mobile application backend integration experience
  • Expertise in system performance tuning & optimization
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise system integrations

Required Experience & Qualifications :-

  • 12+ years of industry experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
  • 4+ years as a Java Microservices Architect / Solution Architect.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proven expertise in external integrations, cloud-native solutions, and enterprise-grade systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
