We are looking for Heroku Kafka Developer- Remote

Position : Heroku Kafka Developer

Experience : 4-6 Yr

Location : Remote , India

Notice : Immediate to 15 days

Mandate : Kafka , PostgreSQL ,AWS (Heroku will be an Advantage)

Mandatory Skills :

Heroku Kafka Developer :


1) Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data streaming solutions using Heroku Kafka and/or Kafka PostgreSQL , Snowflake

2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and implement solutions that meet business needs.

3) Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and delivery of real-time data

4) Configure and manage Kafka clusters on Heroku or PostgreSQL for high availability, fault tolerance, and performance.

5) Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation of Kafka infrastructure.

6) Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of Kafka clusters.

7) Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and guidelines for Kafka development and operations.

8) Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kafka ecosystem and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.

9) Good to have Data lake house and Data lake knowledge.

Mandatory Skills Kafka :

1. In Depth knowledge of Kafka architecture

2. Kafka Administration

3. Working experience on AWS services

4. Working experience on Kubernetes

5. Experience with Schema registry, Kafka connectors and Database

6. Managed clients confluent Kafka infrastructure

7. Cluster Monitoring, Alerting and Metrix

8. Working Experience on Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka

Good To have Skills :

1. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment.

2. Excellent in troubleshooting

3. Awareness of critical concepts in Agile principles

4. Configuration Management tools (eg. Terraform/Ansible)
