We are currently seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and contribute to a project for a prestigious US client.

Position : Ruby on Rails Developer

Location : Remote (Anywhere in India)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on high efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.

- Manage PostgreSQL databases and ensure secure and efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Implement background job processing using Sidekiq to optimize application performance.

- Utilize Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) for scalable email management solutions.

- Ensure code quality, implement automated tests, and conduct code reviews.

- Work closely with the team to innovate, brainstorm, and deploy new features.

- Adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute proactively to team discussions.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, with a portfolio showcasing your work.

- Expertise in PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).

- Experience with Amazon Simple Email Service (SES).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with AWS and Heroku platforms.

- Knowledge of additional web technologies and UI/UX best practices.

- Experience with continuous integration and deployment workflows.

- Working Hours: Expected online hours are 3 PM - 11 PM IST to align with our US client's requirements.
