Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager – Industrial Warehouse Construction

Location: Pan India (Multiple Sites)

Department: Quality Assurance / Construction

Reports to: Project Head / Construction Manager

Company Overview:

We are a leading real estate developer with a strong portfolio in industrial warehouse construction across India. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, durable, and functional industrial spaces. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to ensure that all warehouse construction projects meet our standards and client expectations, adhering to regulatory compliance and best industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance Planning and Management:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) plan for all warehouse construction projects across India.- Ensure quality control processes are aligned with the company’s standards and specifications for industrial warehouse construction.- Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and engineers to define quality expectations for each project phase.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Standards Adherence:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant construction and safety standards (e.g., IS codes, BIS standards, NBC, environmental standards, etc.).- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and resolve any non-compliance issues swiftly.

3. Site Audits & Inspections:

- Conduct routine and surprise site inspections at various stages of the construction process, ensuring that the materials used and workmanship meet predefined quality standards.- Identify any quality issues, potential risks, or deviations from the QA plan, and work with site teams to address them.- Implement and oversee third-party audits when necessary to validate construction quality.

4. Material and Equipment Quality Control:

- Inspect and approve all construction materials, tools, and equipment used on-site, ensuring they meet quality standards.- Develop and enforce testing protocols for materials such as concrete, steel, and other critical components, ensuring that they meet the structural and safety requirements of the project.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control procedures, test results, inspections, and audits.- Provide regular QA reports to senior management, identifying areas of concern, completed inspections, and recommended improvements.- Ensure all QA documentation is readily available for internal and external audits.

6. Risk Management & Issue Resolution:

- Proactively identify quality-related risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any quality issues that arise, proposing corrective actions and verifying that these actions have been effectively implemented.

7. Team Training & Leadership:

- Provide leadership and training to the on-site project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on quality assurance best practices.- Develop a culture of quality within the construction teams, ensuring that all personnel understand the importance of adhering to quality standards.- Coordinate with HR and management to provide quality training programs for site engineers and supervisors.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in construction technology, materials, and best practices in quality management.- Implement continuous improvement strategies in QA processes to enhance efficiency, reduce rework, and improve project outcomes.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A post-graduate qualification in Quality Management will be an advantage.- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles, specifically in industrial warehouse construction or large-scale infrastructure projects.- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or equivalent will be preferred.- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry regulations in India.- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QA/QC software, construction management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
