KPMG Advisory professionals provide advice and assistance to enable companies, intermediaries, and public sector bodies to mitigate risk, improve performance, and create value. KPMG firms provide a wide range of Risk Advisory and Financial Advisory Services that can help clients respond to immediate needs as well as put in place the strategies for the longer term.


Projects in IT Advisory focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. They are either IS audit, SOX reviews, Internal audit engagements, IT infrastructure review and/or risk advisory including but not limited to IT audit supports in nature.

Responsibilities


Experience reviewing Data governance strategy and policies

Data architecture and models

Review of Data quality and integrity:

Experience in reviewing data quality test cases/methods used in organizations

Ability to validate data integrity across the data flow

Review of Data Governance Tooling

Review of the data ingestion pipeline

Tooling used to validate data

Data classification-related tooling

Information Security risk and controls around information protection

Experience with data governance tooling such as Collibra

Data Lineage tooling

Data Related Regulation: Awareness of regulation impacting data localization and privacy


Qualifications


Any full time bachelor’s degree with relevant technical experience.

Prior experience in client facing / account management roles

Possess strong domain knowledge, understanding of business processes and possible risks in operations of at least two industry sectors.

Have experience in process consulting/ internal audit/ risk consulting at a project manager level role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
