Role Summary:


As the Assistant Manager, QA, Site Merchandising, you will play a critical role in driving customer experience and engagement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to pre-production and post-production validation of our promotional offerings. In this position, you will:


Audit coupons and promotions across web, mobile and app, testing all customer use cases, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.

Set up and audit site refreshes across various landing pages

Audit website properties and navigation, maintaining high levels of accuracy

Develop and present key sales and competitor reports across multiple business categories

You will be instrumental in validating new features, functionalities, and enhancements within the promotional landscape for Saks.


Key Qualifications:


  • 6-8 years of experience in .com operations, with expertise in site operations, QA and SEO
  • An ability to analyze and process data to identify trends and inferences
  • Must be self-motivated and operate with a strong sense of urgency
  • Must possess analytical skills; ability to solve problems & good communication skills
  • Organized & must possess excellent follow-up skills
  • Technical aptitude with web-based tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with site analytics tools (e.g., Omniture, Google Analytics) and with content management tools
  • A team player who works well with cross-functional global teams
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask & flexibility to work on tight deadlines


Role Description:


  • Content Set-Up & Site QA
  • Set-up and QA homepage, curated pages, landing pages and other site content e.g. banners, tout and ingrid images
  • Execute site and search QA to ensure accuracy and hygiene
  • QA and schedule emailers, in keeping with the marketing calendar
  • Maintain efficient trackers and workflows to record callouts and follow-ups


SEO

  • Develop and implement a cohesive SEO strategy
  • Optimize pages for improved ranking and visibility
  • Ensure site architecture, urls are optimized for search engines
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality, SEO optimized content
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, conversion rates using SEO tools


Reporting & Analysis

  • Extract and analyze data, publishing periodic reports on sales, inventory performance, campaign performance, etc
  • Partner with E-commerce teams to track and diagnose abnormalities in data trends
  • Apply data to identify trends and optimize navigation, refinements, linking, and onsite search experience
