Beautician Location: Anna Nagar Reports To: Salon Manager / Owner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and professional Beautician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a range of beauty treatments and focused on providing excellent customer service. As a Beautician, you will be responsible for enhancing clients' appearances through various techniques such as skincare, hair removal, and makeup application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide beauty services including:
  • Facials and skincare treatments
  • Waxing/threading
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Hair styling, cutting, and coloring (if applicable)
  • Makeup application for events or daily wear
  • Eyebrow and eyelash treatments
  • Assess clients' skin types and recommend suitable treatments
  • Recommend and sell appropriate skincare and beauty products
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of workstations and tools
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role
  • Certification in Cosmetology or Beauty Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Knowledge of a wide range of beauty techniques and treatments
  • Up-to-date with latest beauty trends and treatments
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Experience with bridal makeup or advanced skin treatments
  • Knowledge of massage therapy or spa treatments
  • Sales experience in beauty products
