Job Description :

A ServiceNow Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of ServiceNow applications, thereby contributing to the overall success of IT service management initiatives within an organization. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical
skills, and effective communication to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high-quality testing solutions.

1. Execution of Test Cases: Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and security of ServiceNow applications.

2. Defect Management: Identify, report, prioritize, and track defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA or ServiceNow's own defect management module. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.

3. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new enhancements or bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

4. Integration Testing: Collaborate with integration teams to conduct integration testing of ServiceNow applications with other systems and applications within the organization's ecosystem.

Primary Skills :

- Proven experience as a Software Tester with a focus on testing ServiceNow applications.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.

- Proficiency in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM or CIS - Developer, is a plus.
