Our team of more than 350 members at the GCC enables us to expand internal capabilities in the areas such as data analytics, merchandising and eCommerce, quality engineering, and automation to generate insights for faster decision-making and help us accelerate our business strategy. Role Description
As a Senior Analyst on the Marketing Data Platforms team, you will be working on a team to bring customer-centric personalization to life. In this role, you will be empowered to develop data solutions in support of analytics, data science, and business partners to understand capability requirements and develop data solutions based on priorities. This key contributor role will collaborate with product managers, architects, technology teams, analysts, marketing operations specialists, and monetization business partners to understand capabilities and that will be brought to life for Giant Eagle’s 4M+ customers. The ideal candidate will have experience within multiple technology platforms (e.g. GCP, Engagement Platforms, Customer Data Platform, Ad-Tech, etc.) while providing the vision and design for integrating customer data. Additional key skills and qualifications below:
Primary Job ResponsibilitiesLed and collaborate product analytics requirements gathering and translating into app and web events data collection plans.Implementation of data plan events for digital product features and translate product requirements into technical needs for web and mobile developers to implement.Provide strategic recommendations to program leads, product managers, designers, business strategy and marketing leads based on analysis of our productsPartner with stakeholders to understand product goals and how we can develop the right set of KPIs to track and support their vision and tie it to firm performance. This involves asking the right questions and understanding the business needs of cross-functional stakeholdersPartner with Analytics leadership to develop an analytics strategy that enables self-service analytics and sets the direction for insights needed to deliver organizational outcomes for end-users within the product domainBecome familiar with the vast suite of technical tools available to deploy; pursue technical training and development opportunities, and strive to continuously build knowledge and skills
Role RequirementsExperience working in a cloud-based data warehouse environment (Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)Experience with product/marketing event-level data collection and analytical tools (Amplitude , mParticle, Google Analytics, etc.)Experience with Customer Data Platforms event definitions and tag (Adobe)Knowledge of App and Web5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years focused in business intelligence/analyticsKnowledge of data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau / Looker / PowerBIKnowledge of data architecture best practicesExperience conducting statistical analyses and data wrangling tasks utilizing Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages required.
