The position requires a candidate with proven leadership ability, identifying areas of improvement, and timely and on-budget project delivery with a clear focus on improving colleague experience. The leader must have the ability to influence, motivate, and lead the workplace team to meet the challenges of changing and evolving workplace environments. The role will directly manage the delivery of workplace services and associate project delivery and will be the primary point of contact for all senior stakeholders. In addition, the position will work closely with the Global Real Estate and Technology teams on all major projects and associated lease events. Key Accountabilities The overarching responsibility of this role is to deliver value by strategic oversight and sensible management of the workplace team, IHG assets, and operational budget across our Gurgaon location. The role must administer the wider FM strategy, budget, planning, and project delivery across our India location (s)
• Provide overall management, reporting, and metrics for the Workplace team and associated location projects.

• Lead and implement key workplace projects across the India region, providing significant improvements to our colleague's experience, enabling their ability to collaborate and work more effectively in an innovative and inspiring environment. Driving workplace change and space optimization, creating a workplace environment that attracts and retains great talent.

• Working in partnership with our Global Corporate Real Estate team on the delivery of workplace projects and capital investment.

• Provide overall project management and leadership over workplace initiatives (including moves and refurbishments) Ensure goals and milestones are met.

• Delivery of timely budgeting, tracking and reporting to ensure best in class service delivery.

• Ensure that the workplace & IHG comply with all local legislation and are compliant. Provide regular updates and work closely with the leadership and stakeholder teams. Co-ordinate with Security and Risk ensuring safety and CSR requirements are met.

• Ensure operational excellence in the delivery of workplace management, either directly or through third-party partnerships. Identify opportunities that leverage best workplace practice.

• Work within a Global organization, collaborating with other Senior leaders across multi-functional teams, developing communication channels and operational success.

• Hire, Inspire and lead a high-performing team, driving a culture of collaboration, ownership, and transparency.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to look and plan ahead. Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills and Knowledge Education

• Bachelor's or master's Degree preferably in facilities and or project management. Alternatively, a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Experience

• Minimum of 10 years previous experience in the role of Workplace leader within a location of comparable size.

• Prior experience in running a large-scale operation and colleague-facing team with a significant operational budget

• Experience leading major build-out/refurbishment projects.

• Experience working with global teams on major projects. Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated ability in leading workplace and project teams, responsible for delivering support and project services.

• Experience working with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and interacting across all levels of the organization.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

• Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, and meet project deadlines.
