You will leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes.

You must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. As a key member of the safety team, you will instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site.

A Day in the Life:

  • Partnering with site operations teams to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations
  • Leveraging lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing and implementing department goals and strategies
  • Building trust and confidence with Operations Teams and influencing change through risk assessments and safety data analysis

Requirements:

  • 2+ years previous experience in Environment, Health & Safety or ME in Industrial Safety Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Familiarity with government regulations and industry best practices
