We guard our customers by being precise and reliable, we guide their success by combining powerful technology with proven expertise, and we help them grow by unleashing their potential.About the TeamWorking with an agile based DevOps team across the globe to deliver business requirementsAbout the PositionDevOps Engineers at Solifi are expected to deploy, automate, maintain, and manage both the on-premise and cloud-based product environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of environmentsRole and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the fundamentals of DevOps engineering and be fully proficient with DevOps terminologies, concepts, benefits, and deployment options to meet business requirements.
Provide support to developers/QA/release delivery teams who use the CI/CD pipelines.
Performs bundling of product releases and distribution.
Write scripts which automate repetitive tasks.
Maintains and supports internal development and test environments.
Ensure pipelines are not creating bottlenecks for rapid deployment of code.
Identify and fix bugs which appear within devops pipeline related code, tools, container platforms.
Develops and maintains product installers utilizing Install4J
Develop a sound understanding of security and performance testing to safeguard releases from vulnerabilities.
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
Be able to deliver change requests from customers rapidly and effectively by adding new (and updating existing) features.
Resize the existing cluster size to meet infra requirements of an already running application in production and autoscale the application in terms of replica set and deployments.
Troubleshooting Kubernetes issues.
Docker create images, containers, swarms, volumes, and networks; define Docker security client bundles and client-server authentication.
Contribute to the configuration, installation, and documentation of client solutions.
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
Manage and maintain existing pipeline infrastructure.About YouHave a BS or BA in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Have 5-9 years of experience in a software development role or similar with 3-4 years of experience in DevOps only. Good communication skills. Previous experience with building and deployment. Previous experience building CI/CD pipelines. Have working knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Have a working understanding of Route53, ALB, NLBs, ASG, and NGINX. Be familiar with IAC tools and programming languages (Terraform, Python, Java, EKS etc.). Knowledge of the “version control system” preferably Gitlab to effectively track changes. Knowledge of popular DevOps tools preferably Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins, Gradle. Good to have bamboo. Understanding of container runtime and platforms, preferably Docker, K8. Experience with Chef or Ansible for automating configuration management. SaaS delivery experience. Experience in Linux / UNIX and/or Windows administration. Knowledge how to implement DevOps cycle.
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM.
