Fleet Personnel Manager - Fleet Personnel Department.
(Based in Mumbai)
ORGANIZATION
Reporting to the Top management, you will be in-charge of managing the Manning and operational performance for a pool of merchant Vessel. Your key role is to ensure safe and efficient operations of the companies manning department and to ensure that the vessels are always manned with desired quality of staff with all necessary and Statutory Compliances.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and supervise Manning aspects of vessel operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Act as a bridge between the Manning Offices and Technical groups.
Ensure that proposed crew including those on promotion meets the company’s criteria for the rank being considered.
Monitor crew’s successful completion of briefing and training as required prior being assigned their next shipboard assignment.
Coordinate and plan manpower resources for new takeovers.
Ensure that vessel’s crew costs and crew wages are kept within the limits specified in the operating costs budgets.
Provide support and guidance to onboard crews and shore-based personnel.
YOUR PROFILE:
You must be a qualified Master Mariner or Captain sailed on Main Fleet Vessel with minimum 12 months of sailing experience as Captain or Master Mariner.
