Brief about the Team :

The Backend Engineering team at Tata 1mg is a skilled and dedicated group responsible for developing and maintaining the robust infrastructure that powers the company's platform. With expertise in backend technologies, they seamlessly integrate systems, databases, and APIs to improve and help in users' healthcare journey. Their focus on security and reliability ensures high performance and data protection. The team's attention to detail and problem-solving abilities contribute to Tata 1mg's reputation as a leading health tech platform.


What will you do:

  • Architecture, design, and development of high-performance software applications and software platforms.
  • Identify technology trends and implement cutting-edge technology to create a scalable high-performance platform.
  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.
  • Actively write code and conduct reviews for features shipped within your team.
  • Build, develop, and groom engineering talent and teams.
  • Ensure timely product development, drive continuous improvement in system’s health provide engineering support across teams.



What are we looking for:

  • Proven background in building large-scale, high-availability, database-driven applicaons
  • Good to have Supply Chain Experience
  • Hands-on experience in Python with a strong track record of developing robust and scalable soluons.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure
  • Lead a team of 5-10 engineers across varying experience levels, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and performance oversight
  • Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
  • Familiar with more than one software development methodology. Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
