Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build & launch products that scale well effectively and contribute to product development
  • Build Scalable architecture to handle 10X messages that we handle today.
  • Build an AI team to build features of the future based on data analytics and Gen AI
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to launch new products and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Oversee engineering projects, ensuring that deadlines, quality standards, and resource allocation are effectively managed for both existing and new products.
  • Build and scale engineering teams, establishing structures, processes, and best practices to support the growth of the organization.
  • Ensure that the engineering team follows best practices, including code quality, system reliability, and scalability, with a focus on supporting real-time messaging.
  • Implement agile methodologies, ensuring efficient sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous delivery.
  • Provide career growth and development opportunities for team members, including creating clear paths for professional advancement.
  • Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, team performance, and project progress to ensure continuous alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams, preferably in a SaaS or messaging-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint management, and engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and align stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in building scalable messaging systems, with a deep understanding of system architecture and design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with technologies relevant to AiSensy (e.g., MERN, AWS stack).
  • Strong focus on innovation, problem-solving, and team culture building.
  • Experience in building and scalable solutions or handling high-volume real-time communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
