POSITION GOALS

(a) To provide Engineering support to the Facilities Management team at assigned Facilities.

(b) To ensure timely and accurate completion FM reports pertaining to assigned Facilities.

(c) To adhere planned maintenance schedule of assigned equipment and achieve excellence with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices.

(d) Assist the Chief Engineer/ Electrical Lead in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.

(e) Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services to the client.

(f) Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Account Lead.

(g) Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.

(h) Train the team on good engineering practices and make them dependable.

(j) Follow client established procedures in tandem with JLL procedures to achieve excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(a) Support the Chief Engineer/ Electrical Lead in managing the Electrical installations.

(b) Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams and through NCAMC.

(c) Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.

(d) Assist the Chief Engineer / Electrical Lead to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.

(e) Maintain the logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M & E installations.

(f) Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns; Maintain Incident tracker in the share point regularly. Report breakdowns to client and raise WO as a RM ticket.

(g) Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time.

(h) Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client by meticulous planning.

(i) Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises.

(j) Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters.

(k) Reporting:

Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Chief Engineer.

Generate Service maintenance reports on equipment.

Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables.

Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS – MINIMUM ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA

Graduate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Should hold valid electrical supervisor license issued by CEIG, Karnataka

Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of electrical equipment in a Plant.

Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team.

Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives.
Good conversational/ written English skills.

Effective team coordination of direct and vendor staff for efficient service delivery.

Position Goals

(a) To provide Engineering support to the Facilities Management team at assigned Facilities.

(b) To manage a team of electrical technicians in a fair, transparent, and professional manner.

(c) To ensure that team ensures timely and accurate completion of FM reports pertaining to assigned Facilities.

(c) To ensure that the team adheres to planned maintenance schedule of assigned equipment and achieve excellence with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices; Undertake audit of work done and identify opportunity for improvements.

(d) Assist the Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.

(e) Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services to the client.

(f) Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Account Lead.

(g) Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets and also ensure that the inhouse vendors/ contractors are assessed for KPI, HSSE practices on a monthly basis through an open review.

(h) Train the team on good engineering practices and make them dependable.

(j) Follow client established procedures in tandem with JLL procedures to achieve excellence.

(k) Demonstrate Leadership skills by getting the team together to ensure smooth work with great efficiency, guiding them to overcome difficult situations at work and show them the right path in maintenance management best practices.

(l) Maintain a close liaison with the Client in submitting all relevant documents, both statutory and mandatory (like service reports of OEM post AMC), getting approval for renewed/ changed procedures/ procurement of spares/ conclusion of maintenance contracts.

(m) Review the 52-week PPM calendar every year for its robustness, veracity and efficiency. Thereafter, get the client to approve the changes on a mutually agreed terms.
