PositionPurpose
The candidate wouldbe Part of Derivative Execution and clearing team working alongwith the DEC Market Fees Reconciliation and Brokerage
team.The role would concentrate To clear and allocate exchangetraded derivatives trade on behalf of the client. Ensure all topday trades are
cleared and reconciled against cleaninghouse by the end of day.
The role requires ahigh level of attention to detail to ensure Companys external endclient fees are validated and any required corrections oramendments are processed accurately and according to procedure. Thecandidate would be working with large volumes of trade data soshould be comfortable using Excel to summarize as well as to drilldown and independently investigate any discrepancies thatmay
arise.
Work effectively withteam members to accomplish common goals. Generate creativesolutions to problems Ability to plan work ahead and to prioritizeworkload in an organized manner. Undertake a variety of financialand nonfinancial tasks in order to help guarantee the companysrevenues; handle the processing of incoming payments along with theissuing of necessary paperwork.
Responsibilities
Client experience focus directly interacting with thelisted derivative global client base to manage their margin cashandcollateral settlements and inquiries.
Direct communication with CTFC regulators compliance teams auditorsFCM community and global business partners
Extensive knowledge of the CFTC regulations NFA and CCP rulebooksfor FCM clearing operations of settling margin collateralandcustomer protection regulations
Managingthe cash wire securities movements and related control processesincorporated into the settlement of client and CCPfacing
margin.
Account balancingof various depositories requiring in depth investigation to resolverelated breaks and inquiries.
Key riskindicator and statistical capture recording and analysis ofoperational process and staff performance trends
Lead and assist large scale projects to implementprocesses that comply with necessary changes growth and or newregulations and
rules.
Providestraining and instructional demonstration to staff partners andclients in regard to the firms margin settlementframework
regulatory requirements and relatedoperational processes
Demonstrates a highlycompetent working knowledge of FCM operations involvement in thelife cycle of execution and clearing activities that
result in the calculation margin requirements
Ensure ample familiarity with our escalation proceduresand raises issues to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner toensure all are
aware of potential risk while takingownership of the issue and sees through to resolution
Reviews processes and provides feedback for enhancementwith additional responsibility for managing the enhancement foroperations
and seeing through to completion
Collaborates with Product on projects to improve theclient offering and presents the operations point of view on behalfof her team
Technical &Behavioral Competencies
Experience with cash and collateral movements to settle margincalls.
Experience managing and operationalprocesses.
Knowledge of FCM operationsresponsibilities to CCPs and clients
Extensive knowledge of CFTC regulations with ability todemonstrate
controls adhering to compliance in a dailyproduction environment.
Understanding ofexchange listed derivatives trading and clearing workflows andrelated controls to alleviate regulatory risk.
Proficient in SWIFT messaging custody accountmanagement wire transfers and account balancing
Experience interacting with exam teams andregulators.
Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP Pivottables formals etc.) Outlook and Power Point
Experience in client and CCP margin settlement calculation andprocess for listed derivatives markets.
5years of experience assisting or leading projects requiring regularstatus reporting and meeting strict deadlines.
5 years of experience in client services solutions orrelationship building and management.
Experience giving livedemonstrations.
Projectmanagement experience specific to establishing best practicesprocess improvements and implementation of operationalcontrols.
Experience interacting withoutside parties clients and various lines of business seekingsolutions for enhancing control environments.
Experience in global markets trade execution andoperational systems.
Microsoft suiteknowledge
