Job Description :
Recrud, on behalf of our esteemed fintech client, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Engineering Manager specializing in Mobile Applications to lead our engineering team into the future.
This role is pivotal in driving the development and execution of our client's mobile app strategies, ensuring seamless, secure, and innovative financial solutions for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications, with a primary focus on React.js and React Native technologies, ensuring exceptional quality and innovative functionalities.
- Strategize and implement best practices in mobile app development, keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to maintain and extend competitive advantage.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the mobile engineering team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure project requirements are met, timelines are adhered to, and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
- Manage and mentor a team of mobile developers, setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development to build a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Oversee the entire mobile application lifecycle from concept to deployment, including post-launch maintenance and updates.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of mobile applications, incorporating fintech industry best practices and compliance :
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on mobile applications.
- At least 3 years of experience in a people management role within a technical team, demonstrating effective leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.
- Profound expertise in React. js and React Native, with a track record of deploying successful mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the fintech industry, including compliance, security standards, and the financial technology ecosystem.
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
