Pragmatic Play strives to create the most engaging and evocative experience for customers globally across a range of products, including slots, live casino, sports betting, virtual sports and bingo.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests, ensuring the highest quality standards across the application. You will use tools such as Selenium Web Driver , Rest Assured , Postman , Test NG , and Cucumber to automate tests and ensure product reliability.The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills , a deep understanding of QA processes , and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Test Automation Development:Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium Web Driver , Rest Assured , Postman , and Cucumber frameworks.Develop, enhance, and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing2. API testing:Write automated API tests using Rest Assured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.Create data-driven tests and automate API validation against different environments.Ensure robust API coverage, including edge cases and negative test scenarios.3. Agile and Continuous Integration (CI/CD):Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI).Ensure tests are executed as part of the build and deployment processes, reporting the results promptly.Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives) and work in an iterative, fast-paced environment.4. Problem Solving and troubleshooting:Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.Ability to debug, isolate, and fix issues in both test code and application code.Experience in performance testing, stress testing, and identifying potential bottlenecks.5.
