We are looking for a solid candidate for a Tableau Developer with Salesforce role(CONTRACTUAL).

8 hours/day- REMOTE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with experience integrating and working with Salesforce data. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights into business performance. This is a full-time contractual role requiring 8 hours per day of dedicated work.

Role & responsibilities

1. Dashboard Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, insightful, and aligned with business objectives.

2. Salesforce Integration:

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) Salesforce data into Tableau.
  • Develop data connections between Tableau and Salesforce, including SOQL and APIs.

3. Data Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key metrics and data requirements.
  • Optimize data sources and queries to improve performance and accuracy.

4. Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end users on Tableau dashboards and Salesforce data usage.

5. Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and Salesforce data connections.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).

  • Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau (dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, etc.).

  • Expertise in Salesforce data structures, SOQL, and API integrations.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with Tableau Prep and performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics or Tableau CRM.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
