We are looking for AS400 ADMIN professionals, please find below JD :-- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration with o work management, o user management, journal management and performance management.- Proven experience in IBM I , OS/400,V7R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems.- Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400.- Demonstrable skills in iBMi o native job scheduler and o Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution.- Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).- Manage the Backups,Scheduling,Modification.- Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR.- Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues.- Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity.- Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled.- Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running.- Server Up gradation in hardware/Software/OS coordinating with IBM
