We are looking for AS400 ADMIN professionals, please find below JD :- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration with o work management, o user management, journal management and performance management. Proven experience in IBM I , OS/400,V7R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems. Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400. Demonstrable skills in iBMi o native job scheduler and o Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution. Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS). Manage the Backups,Scheduling,Modification. Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR. Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues. Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity. Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled. Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running. Server Up gradation in hardware/Software/OS coordinating with IBM
