Company Description
DevAssure is an innovative AI-powered test orchestration platform designed to accelerate the shift-left strategy for software development and QA teams. The platform enables teams to develop, generate, and automate functional test cases 10x faster, resulting in a quicker feedback loop. DevAssure provides an integrated environment that eliminates the need for multiple tools and frameworks, making it easier for teams to automate functional and non-functional requirements efficiently and helping them ship high confidence releases to end users.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Founding SDR at DevAssure in Chennai, with flexibility for remote work. The Founding SDR will work closely with founders and be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development activities on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Sales
Implement personalized outreach tactics such as cold emails, calls, and social media interactions to engage decision-makers and spark interest.
Clearly articulate DevAssure’s value proposition, addressing specific customer pain points through well-informed and tailored communication.
Pipeline Development
Research and identify potential clients in APAC/North American markets, qualifying leads through targeted campaigns and outreach efforts.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects using tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce, and other market intelligence platforms.
Collaboration with Sales
Coordinate and participate in discovery calls to ensure the sales team is equipped with highly qualified leads.
Partner with Account Executives by providing valuable prospect insights to craft customized sales approaches.
Market Insights
Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and key developments within the region to stay ahead of the market.
Relay customer feedback and pain points to internal teams, contributing to the refinement of our go-to-market strategies.
Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and painpoints to help refine our go-to-market strategy.
Required Skills and Experience 4–8 years of experience in Sales Development or a similar role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
Demonstrated success in building sales pipelines and generating qualified leads in fast-paced, high-growth markets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with C-level executives.
Proficiency with CRM tools such as Freshsales, Salesforce or HubSpot, as well as sales engagement platforms.
Knowledge of the Developer and QA tools is a strong plus.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organised, with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
