Developer - Workday Extend

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Workday Extend Developer to join our team. As an Extend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Extend applications that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing support for Extend-based systems.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Extend-based applications to meet business requirements.
  • Customize and enhance existing Extend modules and functionality.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Perform testing and debugging of Extend applications to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Extend systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Extend platform developments and best practices.
  • Ensure data security and application performance optimization.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Extend-related development and processes.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Extend in a development role.
  • Strong programming skills in Extend Script, JavaScript, or related scripting languages.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST/GraphQL APIs, integrations, and system customizations.
  • Familiarity with Workday Extend (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with SDLC tools like Git, Github, Github projects, Jira, Bitbucket.


Key Skills:

Prior experience working with Workday or similar platforms, experience in cloud-based architecture and development, knowledge of Agile methodologies ,and experience working in an Agile development environment.
