Java Database Developer

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable database solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement microservices architecture for backend systems.

- (Good to have: Experience with Kafka)

- Design and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

- Work closely with software engineers to understand application requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.

- Develop and implement unit tests for database code using JUnit.

- Maintain and improve existing database systems.

- Document database design, configuration, and procedures.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

- Strong development skills in Core/Advanced Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.

- Mandatory Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL databases.

- Experience with designing and implementing database schemas.

- Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with design patterns is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Maven/Gradle, JIRA/Rally, and Bamboo/Jenkins/Hudson.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Spring frameworks (MVC, IOC, Boot, Batch) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.

- Experience with JMS/Messaging and middleware like IBM MQ or Apache Kafka.

- Understanding of Kafka and Netflix Conductor.

- Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
