Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java/DB Developer with secondary skills in Python and AI/ML to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in Java development, database management, and a keen interest in AI/ML technologies. This role requires immediate joiners who can start within two weeks.

Java Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Database Management :

- Design and implement database schemas.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

- Ensure data integrity and security.

Secondary Skills in Python, AI/ML:

- Develop and integrate Python scripts and applications.

- Work on AI/ML projects, including data preprocessing, model training, and deployment.

- Collaborate with the AI/ML team to integrate machine learning models into applications.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Primary Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.

- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

- Understanding of database design and normalization.

Secondary Skills :

- Proficiency in Python programming language.

- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).

- Familiarity with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Java development and database management.

- Proven track record of delivering software projects in a timely manner.
