Job brief

We are lookingfor an Accounting Supervisor to oversee our accountingdepartment’s daily operations.

Youwill work closely with a team of accountants to manage financialfunctions including accounts payable/receivable bankreconciliations and tax audits. Our ideal candidate uses stronganalytical skills to create detailed financial reports andforecasts. To succeed in this role you should also have aproblemsolving attitude and be able to manage a team.

Ultimately you should be able to ensure our financialmanagement is accurate and effective.

Responsibilities
  • Overseedaily transactions including accounts payable/receivable generalledger and bank reconciliations
  • Participate inregular tax audits and payroll
  • Preparebudgeting reports and forecast revenues
  • Managemonthend and yearend closing
  • Monitor the dailyperformance of the accounting department
  • Organize financial data into useable information andmaintain updated records
  • Track the progress offinancial and accounting objectives
  • Establishaccounting policies and procedures aligned with thecompany’s targets
  • Ensure compliancewith the law
Requirements
  • Proven workexperience as an Accounting Supervisor
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. FreshBooks andZoho)
  • Strong computer skills MS Excel inparticular (managing spreadsheets creating charts and usingadvanced formulas)
  • Solid knowledge ofbookkeeping and accounting principles laws andregulations
  • Excellent analytical skills tomanage large amounts of data
  • Attention todetail and accuracy
  • Team managementskills
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is aplus
