Building & Construction OH & S Australia Contract or Temp Long term contract (6 months +) Iconic project in the CBD Competitive rates (ABN/PAYG) We’re seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to join an established Tier 2 head contractor on an iconic project in Sydney, CBD. An opportunity to work with a close-knit, experienced team, supporting live site operations and ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained. This is a contract role 6 months + with potential to transition to full-time. What You Will Do: Oversee day-to-day safety on a fast-paced, live construction site, conducting inspections, audits, inductions, and toolbox talks Support incident reporting and risk management, ensuring compliance across all subcontractors Work directly with the Safety Manager and Senior Site Manager to implement and maintain site safety systems Promote a strong safety culture in a dynamic, live environment with multiple trades on site Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement of safety processes Requirements: Experience as a Safety Coordinator on large-scale commercial construction, preferably $100M+ projects Strong knowledge of WHS/OHS legislation, systems, and live site requirements Confident with structural works  Strong communicator capable of engaging subcontractors and enforcing safe behaviours Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-moving, live site environment Hands-on experience supporting safety management on complex projects Why: Work with one of the most established Tier 2 head contractors in NSW Iconic landmark project  Possible permanent role  Great culture and experienced team  CBD based  Solid resources for professional growth  If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply directly or reach out to Brydie Hall.
