Position: Engineer or Sr. Engineer- Packaging & Development

Location: Chakan, Pune
Experience: 1-2 years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Materials Science or related.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Packaging Expert to lead and manage all aspects of packaging development, sourcing, and implementation. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Design, Production, Logistics, and Purchasing teams while identifying and developing new materials and suppliers to optimize cost, quality, sustainability, and efficiency in packaging solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, paper, metal, etc.), manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Cross-functional coordination
  • Technical knowledge of packaging materials and processes
  • Supplier management and development
  • Cost optimization and sustainability awareness
