Designation: Tutor Department: College of Nursing Qualification: BSC/MSC Nursing (OBG/ Medical Surgical Nursing speciality in case of MSC) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience after BSC. Annual CTC: 4 LPA Location: Tata Main Hospital (Jamshedpur) Certification: Holding an active Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM)Number from State Nurses Registration Council Mode of Interview - Offline. Job responsibilities: Responsible for producing and distributing specific learning objectives with respect to the speciality and schedules to the clinical facilities prior to student’s attendance at the facility. Brief the students regarding their clinical requirements, maintenance of daily dairy in the clinical setting and timely submission of assignments Conduct demonstration and supervise return demonstrations of students in the lab. Patient assignment in the clinicals as per learning objective Timely evaluation and correction of assignments submitted by students. Conduct and participate formative and summative evaluation of the students and timely feedback to students. Conduct and participate in Guidance and counselling sessions. Supervises students in their area of clinical posting. Liaison with the ward in charge /staff nurses for smooth conduct of the clinical learning of the students. Teaching subjects in the curriculum as per direction of Principal/Vice Principal. Assist in maintenance of records pertaining to students as and when required. Assist in preparation of timetable, duty rosters and its distribution to assigned areas. Assist learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet those needs while fostering a positive attitude about the benefits and opportunities of life-long learning. Actively manage clinical risk, informs Nursing Head of incidents, and contributes to quality and risk planning. Lead and encourage continuous quality improvement activities with ongoing monitoring, Identify and actively involved in clinical audit activities related to clinical practice and improved patient outcomes. Maintain quality standards to meet accreditation and certification requirements. Conducts bed side clinical teaching to appraise the nursing students. Monthly maintenance and upkeep of respective labs. Participate in co- curricular in extracurricular activities of the college.
