Job Summary

  • As a Modem System Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and setting up servers for modem network functions. This involves conducting research on 5G and 6G technologies, open source software, implementing new features, and verifying their wireless mobile operation. The ideal candidate will have strong C/C++ programming and Linux debugging skills to effectively perform these tasks. Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Linux servers using open-source tools to emulate User Equipment (UE), Radio Access Network (RAN), or Core network functions.

  • Research and evaluate new technologies, features, and design requirements for 5G and 6G while developing and presenting proofs of concept.
  • Assist in analyzing data and reports to ensure that designs meet both functional and performance specifications.
  • Work as an individual contributor within the product development team, collaborating with stakeholders and developers across different locations.
  • Utilize project tracking systems like JIRA and Test Central to manage and monitor progress. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of direct experience in modem software development.
  • Strong experience with the Linux operating system.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Good understanding of 5G and 6G specifications and end-to-end call flows.
  • Familiarity with containerization frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with the Mobile Device Development Lifecycle. Personal Attributes

  • The ability to work effectively with other team members under minimum supervision and tight business deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English.
