The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering functional solutions, managing finance-related modules, and ensuring successful implementation, customization, and optimization of D365 Finance in alignment with business needs. This is a contractual role with remote working flexibility.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document finance requirements.Configure, implement, and support Dynamics 365 Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Accounting, etc.).Translate business requirements into functional design documents and solution blueprints.Support data migration activities, testing cycles (UAT, SIT), and cutover planning.Collaborate with technical consultants for integrations, customizations, and reporting needs.Provide guidance and training to end-users on finance modules.Ensure compliance with best practices, finance processes, and system controls.Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend improvements or optimizations.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for finance-related features within Dynamics 365.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 8+years of functional experiencein Finance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX / D365 Finance).Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting principles.Expertise in core Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, and related areas.Proven track record of end-to-end D365 Finance implementations.Experience with data migration, testing methodologies, and UAT support.Excellent documentation and functional design skills.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing role.Finance/accounting certification (CA, CPA, MBA Finance) is a plus.
