Antenna Engineer

Dhruva Space is seeking an experienced Antenna Engineer to join our team at Dhruva Space. This position, sponsored by Dhruva Space at the LAMBDA facility of BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, involves the full design cycle of antennas for space and ground applications, from initial specifications through to final delivery.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead the design, development, and characterization of antennas for space and ground applications.Manage the entire antenna design cycle, including conceptualization, simulation, testing, and validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure antennas meet project specifications and delivery timelines.Conduct performance testing using state-of-the-art RF equipment and simulation tools.Assemble, characterize, and test antennas within an anechoic chamber and compact antenna test range facilities.
Candidate requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or related disciplines, with a minimum of 3-4 years of dedicated experience in antenna design, development, and characterization.Proficiency in Antenna design and Modeling softwares.Proven experience in designing and delivering antennas for government labs and private industries will be prefred.Proficiency in designing and developing at least three of the following antenna types like Microstrip antennas for satellites, Reflector antennas for ground stations, Antenna feeds, Wire antennas (e.g., helical, dipole, Yagi-Uda).Expertise in assembling, characterizing, and testing antennas using anechoic chambers and compact antenna test range facilities.Proficient in operating RF equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), spectrum analyzers, etc.Working knowledge of antenna simulation tools, including hybrid solver techniques for fast and accurate simulation of large antenna structures.
